I was thrilled when Laura told me she was pregnant with Henry.  I’m pretty sure she messaged me to get a spot on my schedule as soon as she took the test…maybe even before hahaha!  Either way, I was excited to celebrate with her and couldn’t wait for the opportunity to photograph another one of her littles grande debut.  There are few things more amazing than witnessing a child take his first breath.  There are few things more fun than hanging out with Dave and Laura as they are about to welcome a child into the world.  They are the type of people who bring the whole floor donuts and take drink orders for everyone who was going to be part of their big day.  They are almost as sarcastic as me, fun to joke with and genuinely kind people.  Maybe that’s why everyone treated Laura like royalty.  It was fun to be a part of her entourage for the day… “her own private photographer” as one nurse whispered.  It was even more fun to be there with a friend and just love on her baby when I was done “working.”
